Welcome to Witch Town — The Brochure Is Finally Open
We built a secret trial for 4–12 players. Now we built a website that explains it without spoiling your lies.

The mist has been listening for a while. Now it has a homepage.
Witch Town is a social deduction card game for 4–12 players. Hidden witches, a sheriff with strong opinions, fifteen role characters who all claim innocence, and fifty-nine action cards designed to ruin friendships politely.
Play here, read here
- Game: game.playwitchtown.com — accuse your neighbors
- This site: www.playwitchtown.com — learn the rules without sitting through your friend’s bad explanation
We split them on purpose. The game is the courtroom. This site is the town crier.
What you’ll find here
This blog covers dev updates, design notes, and patch notes — the kind of thing you’d whisper in the tavern if the tavern had a RSS feed.
If you want to learn the rules interactively, head to Witch Town Academy inside the game. If you want to read about why we gave Giles Corey a passive ability that refuses to die quietly, stay here.
Quick start
- Open game.playwitchtown.com
- Pick a town name (Rowan is taken; Rowan2 is also taken)
- Hit Quick Play or invite friends with a room code
- Try not to be the first one accused
The bell rings at midnight. See you in town.
